About Michelle
My name is Michelle and I am a personal trainer and expert Pilates instructor. I also organize wellness retreats.
My mission in life is to help others be the best that they can be. You don’t have to sacrifice your "quality of life" to achieve your wellness and health goals.
Throughout my life I've dared many things… I left a high-powered corporate career 16 years ago to pursue my dream of living and leading others to a healthier lifestyle. Since then, in collaboration with my clients (people just like you), I have built dare to be fit, a wellness studio that promotes community, personal growth, health and mutual empowerment.
A native Chicagoan, early in life I embraced the chance to lead a somewhat nomadic lifestyle between the US and Europe (including the former Yugoslavia and Spain). I also travel the world extensively. This has peaked my curiosity and interest in diversity. I am drawn to the beauty of different cultures, experiences, flavors and destinations. And I share these with my friends, family and clients… frequently through cuisine.
Yes, I love to cook (and therefore eat) and I am a HUGE fan of wine!!!! Don't let anyone fool you that trainers are the best eaters or self-controlled people. We are not. We are humans, and have the same struggles… we just keep working on solutions to find balance. We are certainly not without fault and not always successful everyday. I do have so say, though, my fitness journey started many years ago when I quit smoking cold turkey.
So, I hope you gather that I am tenacious when it comes to reaching my goals and yours. Working together, we dare to never give up on ourselves!!!!
I continue to seek ways to lead a happy and authentic life and inspiring others on this journey.
When not working, I love to spend time with friends, hike, make succulent arrangements, refurbish furniture and take my rescue dog Jaxx for long walks.
